Jamie Fuhrman a Professional Drum Teacher
Hey! I’m Jamie Fuhrman a Pro Drum Teacher and founder of Jamie’s Drum School in Central Pennsylvania.
I was born in 1982 and started my journey as a drummer at age 3—passed down from my father. I have been blessed to learn from some of the greatest influences in the drumming industry and have had opportunities to attend some of the greatest drumming academies (including: Berklee College of Music and The Stanton Moore Drum Academy). Also, I’ve been lucky enough to study under Clyde Lucas (who has played with ray Charles) and Count Bassie. I have also studied under Jim Payne AKA (The funky drummer) Peter Erskine (drummers hall of fame inductee) and Mike Johnston

Here at Jamie’s Drum School, my mission in life is to help you find your own voice on the drums and paint a musical picture of what you feel deep within. Passionate about what I do, I want to share the skills and tips I’ve learned throughout my journey to help you grow into an inspiring artist and make sure you exceed your own expectations in becoming the best you can be at your craft. This art form will change the way you experience and tackle life’s challenges and I can’t wait to show you how.
